The Reconstruction of the Abbey, September 21

‘The reconstruction of the Abbey’ – is the title of a lecture on Thursday 21 September at 2.00 pm in the Edmund Room at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

This is a chance to hear Dr Steven Brindle, Senior Properties Historian of English Heritage, give a presentation about the digital reconstruction of the Abbey.  His work has been used on the interpretation panels in the Abbey Gardens and ruins, which were installed last year. It features the results of extensive new research and ideas on what the Abbey of St Edmund may have looked like.

All are welcome, the lecture is free of charge.

Places are limited, so please email sarahfriswell@stedscathedral.org if you would like to attend.
